Co-curricular activities
The students are encouraged to participate in the various co-curricular activities within and outside the campus. There are seminars and workshops conducted by invited guests for different curricular subjects.
Every year study tours are organized by the College for the First to Third year students which are also a compulsory part of the Architectural Education. Students visit places of architectural and historical importance and are accompanied by their respective teachers’ assistance.
The students have visited places like Rajasthan, Delhi- Agra, Chandigarh, Ahmadabad, Pondicherry, Auro-ville and Karnataka till date thereby exposing students to the live experience of historical as well as contemporary architecture.
Field visits and site visits along with Lab test demonstrations under the guidance of teachers are also organized regularly by the college.
The college students have participated and won numerous architectural design competitions organized by different organizations
Extra-curricular activities
Our Exhibition SANVAD is a platform for showcasing talents and academic work of our architecture students. It’s all about letting your inner soul express, experience & explore..!!
The exhibition displays all the academic work of the students of Allana College of Architecture which includes sheets, models, sketches and paintings.
SANVAD 2019-20- “The unheeded ones” A showcase of students’ work themed around accessibility for the disabled was held from 29th Aug 2019 to 1st Sep 2019, at Bhimsen Joshi Kaladalan, Pune.
SANVAAD’2017-18 – “Film and Architecture” themed annual exhibition of students work was held from 17th Aug 2017 to 19th Aug 2017, at Bhimsen Joshi Kaladalan, Pune.
Be ARCH
The annual magazine Be Arch comprises of various yearly activities of the college and also includes articles, write-ups, sketches, paintings, design portfolios and competition entries of students. It also includes reports on activities such as Sanvad, Culturals, Sports and NASA.
Archi CULTURE
‘archiCULTURE’ is the Annual Cultural Fest of our college. It is a showpiece event that makes one learn about an architecture student’s journey through the days of education. It is an event that will truly display the ‘culture of architecture’.
NASA
The students participate in Zonal and Annual NASA convention every year.They also take part in the various trophies and competitions of NASA like the ANDC, LIK Trophy, Reubens, HUDCO and Redesign etc.
Campus Interviews
The college invites reputed companies from in and around Pune to Conduct Campus interviews. Many of our students are well-placed in good firms through the same.
